Why, how, when and where (iPad in PASUM edition!) 📱

Recently, you guys asked me questions regarding iPad usage in pasum. Many asked me whether it was worth it for me or not. So i’ll answer that at the end of this post 😊
So firstly, why iPad?
Hahaha honestly I only started using iPad during the second sem (I got it as a birthday present from my dad, told him its for studying purposes heheheheh 🤪). I loved how some of my friends can make beaaaautiful notes from their iPad which made my heart longed to have one.
Well, I was actually considering whether I should get Goodnotes 5 or not. Its not free, the
price is RM 39.90 in appstore. So i pun fikirlah banyaaak kali whether to get it or not. I fikir lama sangat and I only purchased it after pasum habis hahah. But I only bayar RM 8.90 for it hehe. I almosst paid RM 40 but I managed to knock some sense into my miND and went to shopee to check if theres any seller that sells this app and APPARENTLY GOT! HAHAHA .So i guess yall shud probably try that as well #notanad .
When?
I use my ipad ALL the time. During lectures, during tutorial classes, masa meeting with my jtk gang, in my room to watch my kdrama and also when i want to take a break and do arts. Its convenient bcs its just ONE thing, its less fragile and light as well.
Where?
Lecture hall, tuto rooms, my room, bilik meeting and just anywhere .
And that’s it! Woah a post just about an iPad hahahahahahahaha #thisisntsponsoredokay .
Honestly, I believe any type of tablets will do wonders, it’s just I used this personally during my time in pasum and i loved it hehe. I figure it’d be nice to share my experience with all of you since you guys asked 🤗❤️
And my answer is Yes, purchasing an iPad is one of the good decisions ive made in life. Its very convenient, so it’s worth it for me and it has been my best ever friend in Pasum (other than my human friends of course 😃)

Some notes I made with the app called documents (free on app store)
I dont know if you know this but I loooove making notes, drawing, painting and anything artsy so I was so attracted to the idea of drawing / making notes with limitless canvas and ink. I actually wanted the pencil MORE than the ipad hahaha it feeels so smooth when I first tried in at the store. I instantly fell in love haha 😂. Also, I am not that organized haha im more to the messy side honestly so you can tell that I dont really work well with papers #whoopsie I mean it’s also good IM SAVING THE TREES #talkaboutgoinggreen.
You should know that for the whole 10 months, you will be getting TONS of papers. 😖🤘🏻
Lecture notes, tutorial questions, exam papers, quizzes, and others and honestly, to keep your stuffs organized, I’d suggest you to buy files for each subjects and you might need more than one file per subject. From my experience, For the first few months, it was alright okay. Until the scary exam weeks came haunting my life 🤢, all my papers jadi berterabur #justlikemylifeduringexamseasons . I dont know about you, but at least that was what I experienced. Messy and not pretty. And since every learning materials are papers (not books but just stapled papers) it is so so SO easy to lose them.
When I started using my iPad, my life becomes a lil bit more organized haha. I only have to download all my lecture notes, tutorials dalam my ipad and keep it in my google drive. I made a folder for each subject.

If you don’t know yet, your email (the one with edu.my at the back) is actually pretty amazing and will qualify you for manyyy free things. 1TB storage in OneDrive and UNLIMITED storage in Google Drive are a few examples that I could give. So make full use of your email. I also discovered that if you have that email you can get very reasonable price for Apple music (i think it was only 6.90 rm for those with the edu.my email). Also more free things that I cant remember.If you want to know more you might want to search about the benefits of having the edu.my email on the internet.

Nice right? I dont have to buy files so can save money to buy chocolate peanut butter waffles at cafe KUAZ hehe (yall shud try ! Sedap gila😩). No more missing documents, no more messy files, paper terkoyak, paper hilang lah, paper basah lah, no moreeeee! Wohooo. Also its nice because i tak suka bawak bag to class, you know like the school bag? I dun like hahaha so it’s so convenient because I can just muatkan my ipad in my small tote bag. Looks nicer 😜 #girlsproblem .
For tutorials yang dont need to submit, I love it how I can keep track which tuto I dah siap, which tuto I tak siap. Its nice too that I can just share my tuto with lecturers for them to review guna whatsapp, or telegram anytime anywhere. It’s easy too when it comes to sharing my notes with friends or just anyone because I can just send it in the whatsapp/tele group and voila! Done done :D
And haha sometimes if I am a bit rajin, Ill do my tuto yang kena hantar during tuto class with my ipad, and print it out #wowsomucheffort #trustmeidontdothatalways . But i suka gila the feeling bila paper dah habis print and I got to hold it in my hands #wowsodramatic hahah IT JUST FEELS SATISFYING HAHAH it’s so neat, so nice to look at hahaha. Woah... just now you were in my ipad, now i can touch you ahahaha something like that 😹 (thank you izleen for telling me that it is possible to do this ❤️) .Bila nak hantar pun rasa bahagia HAHAHA 😂

For tutorials yang dont need to submit, I love it how I can keep track which tuto I dah siap, which tuto I tak siap. Its nice too that I can just share my tuto with lecturers for them to review guna whatsapp, or telegram anytime anywhere. It’s easy too when it comes to sharing my notes with friends or just anyone because I can just send it in the whatsapp/tele group and voila! Done done :D
And haha sometimes if I am a bit rajin, Ill do my tuto yang kena hantar during tuto class with my ipad, and print it out #wowsomucheffort #trustmeidontdothatalways . After a few months of experimenting goodnotes 5, it is safe to say that that app has my heart. The features such as the highlighter, pens and the size of the tip Of the pen are better (this is based on my preference).
